Yarn - Rauma Ryegarn Rug Yarn

I'm pleased to feature Rauma 100% Wool Norwegian Rug Yarn.  The wools primarily come from the special Spælsau sheep which are grown on the west coast of Norway. Small farmers in the mountains and along the fjords excel in the raising of this special brand of sheep with a history of 1500 years. Ryegarn, which translates to "rug yarn" is a tight twisted 2-ply yarn and perfect for whipping the edge of rugs or for use in punch hooked rugs. This yarn also dyes beautifully for custom matches.
